I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post. Ive been so busy since we eventually got back from Fiji. The holiday was amazing by the way and I came back with an enviable tan which has only in the last week faded away.

Im now well and truly back in the swing of Uni. I have been taking advantage of the Barr Smith Reading Room, which has an uncanny resemblance to Hogwarts. You can see it here.

Apart from study Ive been pretty busy with work the last few weeks. I have however found time to make some purchases from ASOS (heres hoping that the actually arrive), so I'll post some pictures when they get here. Topshop has also made the cut for my online shopping. I recently bought the cream cable knit jumper (which I wearing right now), black silk shift dress and two pairs of knitted socks, in mustard and cream. Again, I'll post some pictures soon.

Anyway, I hope you're all well, whoever you may be. I promise to be more on top of this space in the future.

Lately the first thing Ive been sussing out on other people is their eyebrows. At the moment Im actually growing mine out to have them reshaped and tinted nicely for summer. God this girl has nice brows (and a nice blog, find Chloe here), a lot better than mine, to quote Mad Men my brows look like Ive paid two caterpillars to sit on my face, and no, not in a cool bambiesque way.

Goodmorning bloggers. I am currently sitting on James' white sheeted bed next to his white walls, dark hardwood floorboards and white rug and thinking that this all looks very beautiful. He's only just moved in before Christmas and Im enjoying having him live closer to me, only a 10 minute drive from Rose Park to Prospect.

I feel rather productive at the moment. Ive just written my timetable for Uni, sent off emails and bought a Limited Edition copy of "The Tales of Beedle The Bard" for $250, which I think is quite a steal. Im only sad as that means I won't be able to afford any Jeffrey Campbell shoes this week. I suppose I do have enough shoes for the time being anyway.

Anyway Ive been thinking a lot lately about re-decorating my room, so naturally Ive been riffling through any home design or interior decorating magazine, blog or book I can get my hands on. As I wrote above, I love James' new room for the white walls and dark floors so Im hoping I can create something similar in my room. I thought Id share with you some of what Im getting inspiration from.

While I know I could never have a bedroom like this one I thought Id still post it because, well, look at it. It has a freaking pool in it.

3. Attend all classes and lectures at University and achieve a Distinction average.

5. Clean out and organise wardrobe so that a) I can close the sliding door and b) I only have clothes that I will actually wear as apposed to eighty percent being untouched.
6. Save my money so I can afford to go mental at Harry Potter Wizarding World at the end of the year with James.

I literally just got home from the Linkin Park concert. I am bruised all over and I think I smell but it was completely worth it. I haven't been in a mosh for nearly four years (back when I went to Taste of Chaos) and while tonight was tame in comparison I still hah so much fun.

It was also good fun overhearing people complaining when they played songs off their latest album. Fancy going to a Linkin Park world tour concert promoting "A Thousand Suns" and the band actually playing songs off the album!

I had my last second year commerce exams on the 20th of November finishing with International Business II, three hours of solid essays. The two weeks following my exams I followed the usual cycle of disbelief that I didn't have to do more study when I got home, relief that I'd finished and then the mind boggling worry that I'd completely stuffed up my exams, missing the point to all the question which would obviously result in my failing the semester. All that anxiety came to a head this morning as our exam results were posted today.

I quite nervously logged in to my student account and had to take a moment before I clicked the link to Academic Results. As the page loaded I have to be honest, I was freaking out a little bit. To my complete and utter surprise the page loaded to display a credit each for Organisational Behaviour and Internet Commerce and a high distinction for International Business, which was actually the exam I thought I would have done worst in.

Naturally I celebrated today with Emma, who had also just got the news that she passed her second year of Medicine. We had fondue at Bracegirdles and then went down to Glenelg for a bit of a wonder. We bought a few puzzle books as well for good measure, have to keep our minds active! (Well, maybe)

All in all it was a good day.

In keeping with Australia's inability to make a definite decision this year... Hung Parliament.. AFL Grand Final... FOX 8 made a bit of a blunder tonight with announcing the winner of Australia's Next Top Model...

Amanda is without a doubt a top model and will have a huge international career, but I really think that Kelsey deserved to win the competition.

The judges go on about the whole package, being editorial, high fashion and runway. Both Amanda and Kelsey have these qualities but there is something about Kelsey which makes her stand out.

Kelsey has proved that being a few centimetres shorter is irrelevant. She has gone from strength to strength throughout the competition and Im so sad that she didn't win.

That being said, I cannot wait to see more of Kelsey both internationally and at home.

Today has been a good full day. I started the morning with a quick two hours at uni followed by coffee and a fantastic conversation with a Moose (Bill) who I have no seen in so long, not since he had returned from a 94 day adventure through the UK and Europe (May I just add that he has been back for a while and I am a bad friend).

Listening to Bill's amazing stories from his travels over a coffee and a tea was the perfect way to spend a Monday morning.

PS. Leopard print jeans came in the mail today, as well as black brogues and black high waisted Levi's (which are a little too big, I was sad).

Sooki Boutique is starting to stock this amazing brand Wildfox. I hadn't heard of it before I saw the album Sooki uploaded but I immediately fell in love. I am still really liking the whole 'school uniform' look and there are pieces in this collection which touch on that so well.

I also get a bit of a 'skins' feel to some of the clothes, which I am definitely not hating. The fall collection campaign also features Nicole Fox, who won America's Next Top Model (Cycle 13), the series where the models for 5'7" and under, which I like because Im 5'5"(and 3/4)...

Dubstep is a genre of music similar to dance/drum and bass, but it's the kind of music that sends shivers down your spine and makes you want to dance. I really like the combat boot trend going round at the moment. You can wear these boots with pretty much anything and instantly feel like you could kick someones butt... Sort of. Either way they are so comfy and warm.

Anyway last week I picked myself up a pair of black combat boots for $50 and I think I have worn them everyday since buying them, and I was actually planning on wearing them to uni as well.

Tomorrow is the first day of a new semester at uni. Im back to studying full-time as well, which should be exciting...

In all serious though I am looking forward to going back, Im pretty confident that I will like the subjects that Im doing and I am yet to achieve a Distinction as an overall grade at uni yet.

I've come close with a few subjects and had assignments marked as D's but yeah I can't quite crack into the final grades yet.

My dinner plans fell through tonight so I am now cuddled up on the couch in my pyjamas. I have recently rediscovered how funny "Friends" is. I remember watching it back in the day and I remember how sad I was when the final episode aired. In fact, I remember exactly where I was sitting (right over there).

Not sure what Im going to do tonight. I could organise my draws in my room (the rest of my room is neat). I probably won't end up doing that though.

While not doing my Management tests earlier today I found this amazing vintage boutique, Gary Pepper Vintage. I am by far not the first person to make this discover, but Im certainly pleased that I have. Im currently scanning their ebay store, I can't afford to spend too much though. Yesterday was the last day of the holidays, and despite being sick James, Emma and myself made the 30 minute drive up the freeway to Murray Bridge, but more importantly Monarto Zoo. It was a lot of fun even though the weather was quite muggy.

My Aunty Louise was even kind enough to lend us her Digital SLR, a Nikon D80. Lucky us. We were able to take some really amazing photos of the animal (and a few of ourselves), I've uploaded a few of my favourites.

Recently I've been exercising quite regularly and eating healthy to increase my general fitness and tone any 'wobbly bits' that might exist around my legs and stomach. I know these things take time but Im getting a little impatient not really being able to see any visible results. I thought it would be a lot easier. To keep myself motivated I did a little search on the internet to find pictures of the kind of body Id like to achieve. This is just a few of them.

I bought a floral dress today after work from Sportsgirl for $55, bargain, and I won black 8 hole Dr Martens today on ebay for $100. I'll upload some photos later.

I don't ever spend this much money in a day. Usually I plan everything Im going to buy and stick to a budget, but I couldn't resist this dress. I have to also buy my Country Road uniform tomorrow so hopefully I wont have to spend too much, maybe I'll have to wait until next week.

In the mean time, this is a photo spread I found of Lily Allen (I quite like her if you hadn't guessed). I love the little devil horns she's wearing.

I haven't really said much about James, I've with him now for over two years, but we dated on and off during senior school. He is my best friend and I love him more than anything.

Im trying to cut down on the amount of coffee and sugar free Redbull's that Im drinking. I've tackled the Redbull but I still need to have a coffee first thing in the morning to not feel sick. Just my luck then that my coffee machine has decided not to work. Im still trying to work out what's wrong, at the moment I'm focussing on cleaning it through completely. May be time for a service.

Oh and yes, I made my own "Out Of Order" sign...

I really miss school uniforms, it was so much easier than picking a different thing to wear everyday. I love the uniform inspired style though. I just need to find a nice skirt to go with my socks.

I saw these shoes online a few days ago at windsorsmith.com. I think they will be the next thing for me to save up for.

Lily Allen Playsuit

I finally was able to watch the new episode, and I still don't even know what to think of it. I don't want to give anything away, although it's obvious when you're on their website as to what's going on, but the ended literally had me speechless for a good ten minutes. The episode on a whole though was good though. It delve into Effy's issues but without being as dark as episode five, you did however has a sense of unease by midway (Which is justifiable when you see the end).

Anyway, I went into town last night. First to dinner at the Colonist (Great food and service) and then to the Garden. I left at 12.30 feeling dirty. Im not sure what it was about last night, but walking through Rundle Street and the Garden, everyone was blind drunk. I lost count of the number of people I saw passed out on tables or being escorted out by security. Oh and the security, yeah that was nice walking in after having our ID's checked and hearing them insult us under their breath, really lovely. I did wear my Lily playsuit last night which did make me happy, I don't think I did it justice though. Definitely should have washed my hair before going out.
